In order to manipulate ecig study results, they overheat ecigs to levels that no human being on the face of God’s green earth would ever use. Then, they look at the vapor and find traces of contaminants. Of course they do! If you burn your drinking cup it will emit toxins.  These studies are ridiculous. The war on ecigs is ridiculous.

There is a lengthy list of harmful chemicals that are added to tobacco products that e-cigs have never contained, nor do they burn material.

Want more examples of the ridiculousness of the war on ecigs and the lies about vaping side effects? How about this stunning hypocrisy … health organizations excoriate electronic cigarettes because of the nicotine and then, in the very same breath, turn around and recommend an FDA approved, Big Pharma nicotine replacement therapy. You can’t make this stuff up.

Look, I know what you are thinking. I am a vaping advocate so of course I will say that. So, how about this. Why don’t we discuss a few irrefutable facts that are not in dispute and you make your own decision.

Here are the irrefutable factors for your consideration. A tobacco cigarette is filled with horrible tobacco additives that make cigarette smoke a deadly toxic mixture. There are 7,000 or more chemicals in cigarette smoke including suffocating carbon monoxide and too many carcinogens. The size of combusted particulates in smoke are so small that they penetrate deeply into lung tissues. We all know the dangers of tobacco and most of us have been touched by the harm that it causes.

An electronic cigarette is a device that vaporizes a liquid, it does not burn a combustible material. Using an electronic cigarette as designed will mean that between 3.2 to 4.2 volts, in some cases higher in advanced devices, will be directed to an atomizer coil to vaporize a liquid comprised of propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, of course nicotine and flavoring. At these volatges and with the safeguards built into today’s ecigs, overheating eliquid would be either impossible or require a deliberate manipulation or misuse.

Propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin are food additives as is the flavoring. Nicotine is the ingredient that makes vaping into a smoking alternative. Go look at the ingredients in your shampoo or toothpaste, you’re probably going to see propylene glycol. PG has been around for a century and we know that it is GRAS, generally recognized as safe. So these ingredients are what is inhaled when vaping.

Not only has vaping been declared less harmful than cigarettes, but one need only look to a comparison of their lungs to see the biggest difference in damage.

So factor this in and what does your gut tell you about what is safer? Public Health England issued a 111 page study that found conclusively that vaping is at least 95% safer than smoking. Millions of people now vape instead of smoke and they report numerous improvements in well-being.  No one is saying that vaping is perfect but at Expert Vaping we fight to give you the real information so you can make the best decision for yourself.

You deserve the right to access a less harmful option and it is totally irresponsible for anyone to misinform you or to threaten your right to choose an ecig if you so wish. Vaping Side Effects

For those in the dark, wondering if vaping is the solution to their quitting quandary, most vapers will not experience any real side effects when giving up their butts.

Most people will not experience any real vaping side effects. However, there are a certain number of people who may be sensitive to propylene glycol.

This is similar to the experience of folks who work in show business and are around stage fog machines. This happens because propylene glycol can have a drying effect. PG draws water molecules from its environment.

This drying effect can also potentially cause some skin irritation, dry mouth or possibly nose bleeds.

Often, this will go away on its own but you can increase your fluid intake to help. If you are sensitive to PG or suspect an allergy, stop vaping and check with a doctor. It is possible that you will need to switch to a high VG eliquid.

In some cases, you may find the vapor to be harsh. This can also be caused by too much nicotine. Choosing the right nicotine level is very important if vaping is going to be an effective smoking alternative for you. If you are a pack per day smoker, it is recommended to start with a 16 mg or 18 mg nicotine level. You may also see nicotine levels listed as a percentage. 16 mg would be 1.6% and 18 mg would be 1.8% and so on.

If you pick an ecig with too much nicotine, it is going to be harsh and you will probably feel the nicotine hit your system. You may feel dizzy. Nicotine also stimulates to autonomic nervous system and that could impact digestion. You don’t want too much nicotine.

You have to be careful. When you buy an ecig from a drug store or gas station, chances are they don’t even have the nicotine level listed on the packaging. The way in which big tobacco defends its market share and puts pressure on government entities to place unfair sanctions on the vaping industry is pretty sneaky.

Do you know how much nicotine is in a cigarette? You absorb about 1 mg of nicotine for every cigarette that you smoke. If you smoke a pack per day you are absorbing 20 mg per day. If you suddenly start increasing that amount of nicotine with a too strong ecig your body is going to react and the last thing you want is to make your nicotine addiction stronger.

Don’t buy ecigs from a retail store. You get the best products online. Another quick note here, a lot of eliquids do have diacetyl because they are made by people who don’t know what they are doing. You need to stick with quality eliquids made by leading American manufacturers like Apollo, VaporFi or Halo. When you buy a boutique brand from a shop somewhere you may not know what you are getting.

As mentioned earlier, most people do not experience vaping side effects but be on the lookout for them. When you start vaping, begin with a cigalike or basic mod that is easy to use. Don’t jump right into subohm vaping. First thing is first, find something that might help you avoid cigarettes and tobacco. That’s the number one goal.

Vaping Side Effects Headache

Some vapers repeated side effects such as headaches due to continuous use.

In some rare cases, vapers have reported getting a headache from vaping. If this is happening to you then something is wrong and you shouldn’t ignore it. There could be a number of causes.

The first and most obvious link to a vaping side effects headache would be too much nicotine. Cut down on the nicotine and that may very well resolve it.

The propylene glycol in most eliquids may have a dehydrating effect that can lead to a headache. Many Americans already live in a state of virtual dehydration and it does not take much to cause a problem. We should probably all be drinking more water anyway.

A sensitivity to propylene glycol could also be the root cause of a headache while vaping. Choosing an ejuice with a 50% VG or higher content may be the answer. There are many available and more VG can also mean more vapor.

When you draw on an ecig, a stuff draw can actually strain some people. That inhalation strain could be a reason why you get a headache when vaping. The best electronic cigarettes have a smooth draw that is not a strain. If you are a person who likes a very easy draw then you would be well advised to choose an ecig with an adjustable airflow. There have been reports that vaping increases caffeine sensitivity. The reports that I found were anecdotal and reported on various forums. While you do retain a nicotine level that can satisfy cravings, it may not necessarily be the same level of nicotine that was present in your body when you were smoking.

Vaping Side Effects On Lungs

So far, the side effects of repetitive vaping on the human lungs is inconclusive compared to the well-documented damage caused by cigarettes.

Anytime you inhale anything, it effects the lungs. There was a study that showed vapor caused a slight increase in lung tension. That is not unusual. Poor air quality, such as most people in big cities breathe, does the same thing.

Propylene glycol sensitivity in some people can cause this to a small degree although not nearly to the degree of a cigarette.

The same people who experience throat sensitivity to propylene glycol may also experience lung irritation.

If you notice any lung sensitivity once again you would better served by switching to the milder vapor from an eliquid with at least a 50% vegetable glycerin content.

The study that raised alarms about the effect of vapor on the lungs was quite interesting. The study generated many headlines. People were screaming foul. The researchers said that ecigs are not as safe as people think. Oh my!

We don’t know what kind of vapor was given to the mice in this study. Judging by the obvious bias of the study I suspect that they used a pure PG ejuice that was heated to a high temperature, this is not the vapor that you would be vaping. There’s a lot more to this study, believe me.

Okay, the researchers made their conclusions and the headlines talked about the dangers of ecigs. Get this, this study for all of its efforts also proved that vaping was 100 times less toxic than smoking. Of course the headlines never mentioned that.

So this is the long and the short of it. The study that showed a slight increase in lung tension when vaping also showed that vaping was 100 times less toxic than cigarettes. How these researchers could minimize that fact is irresponsible. If vaping reduces smoking risk by 100 times that sounds pretty good to me. What do you think?

Vaping Side Effects Propylene Glycol

As we have talked about extensively, propylene glycol can be harsh for some people. This PG sensitivity is probably responsible for the majority of vaping side effects that are rarely experienced by some people but still responisble for the majority of vaping side effects.

PG sensitivity is easy to remedy. Simply switch to a higher VG content and that will probably manage most vaping side effects. Just make sure that you choose a high quality eliquid blended by qualified professionals.

There has been no conclusive evidence suggesting vaping propylene glycol has any side effects or direct damage to users other than enjoyment.

Most people do not experience any vaping side effects at all. They may experience some mild nicotine withdrawal symptoms but because they are still getting nicotine it is manageable. If the nicotine satisfaction is not happening, just try a higher nicotine level. Don’t jump too high too fast. For example, if 18 mg of nicotine is not working for you try 24 mg.

Propylene glycol exposure has been studied by the CDC and they have found no long term effects. Many people work around stage fog for their entire careers. That said, it can still be an irritant and you have other options. That’s the beauty of vaping. It is a technology and it is adaptable to you specifically.
