Interested in vaping? Here are a few things you need to know first before getting into it.
What is Vaping?
Vaping refers to the process of inhaling the vapor created by a vape device or also commonly known as an electronic cigarette.
In order to vape, you typically need two things; a vape device or e-cigarette and a vape liquid or commonly called vape juice.
E-cigarettes are electronic devices, thus, they come with rechargeable batteries. On the other hand, you can also purchase disposable e-cigarettes which include single-use batteries in them.
How Do You Vape?
Once you got your e-cigarette and vape juice, you are all set to vape. Make sure to read the device’s instructions first on how to load the vape juice, how to turn on the device, and to recharge the batteries if the device is not disposable.
Vaping is essentially similar to smoking. However, with vaping, you are inhaling vapor and not smoke. The second difference is that while inhaling out of an e-cigarette, you will have to push and hold a button.
Two Methods of Vape Inhalation
Mouth-to-Lung Vaping: This inhalation process involves sucking the vape into your mouth and inhaling it into your lung. Most cigarette smokers use this type of vaping technique.
Direct-to-Lung Vaping: This type of inhalation method is commonplace in the vaping community. To do this, you are going to inhale large volumes of vapor directly into your lungs instead of sucking the smoke through your mouth first.
Is Vaping Safe?
Vaping is not encouraged at all especially if you are a non-smoker in the first place. However, it has been long proven that vaping is about 90% safer than traditional cigarettes. Thus, if you are a smoker and you want to gradually quit but it is extremely difficult for you, switching to vaping might be the solution.
